This year marks the 76th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea (4 May 1943 - 8 May 1943).
Each year we commemorate the courage of Australian and American sailors at the Battle of the Coral Sea, which saved our country from invasion.
It has become an occasion for Australia, the US, and Japan to celebrate our friendship, peace, and prosperity, and to remember the past so that we can make sure war never breaks out again.
Join us for the formalities, followed by morning tea at the historic Newstead House.
