Claire Robertson, from Hendra, is a talented law student who represented Australia at the International Rounds of the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot in Washington D.C.
It was a pleasure to support Claire with $200, going towards her flight costs.
Claire and her team from the University of Queensland competed on 1-7 April 2018, concluding with the Jessup Cup World Championship Round. In the grand finals, they versed the National Law School of India University.
I am delighted to share with you an update... Claire's team was crowned the 2018 World Champions!
It is an amazing achievement. The Jessup Competition is not only the world’s oldest but the largest international mooting competition, with over 500 law schools from all across the world regularly competing. Once again, congratulations to Claire, her team and coaches.
