Launch Of Real-Time Health Data

The Crisafulli Government has today delivered on its promise to provide transparent information on the state’s emergency departments. The Open Hospitals website is now live, providing real time data to Queenslanders.

Refreshed every 15-30 minutes, the Open Hospitals website indicates the busiest times and shows the waiting times at 25 major Queensland emergency departments, and Queensland’s Satellite Hospitals.

We promised before the election we would unlock the real information recorded in major hospital emergency departments in our first 100 days - and that is what we have delivered.

A key message at all times is that while this information is helpful if you require urgent care and would like to determine where to go, anyone who needs emergency attention should go to their nearest emergency department or call an ambulance on Triple-0 (000) for assistance.
